We were pleased to return to Brussels on Wednesday, May 11 for the 2022 IIF European Summit. This is the IIF's flagship in-person event in Europe this year, and featured some of the most influential voices in global finance. We also offered an online component of the event for individuals who were not able to travel or attend in-person.

As with previously held IIF European Summits, the program featured senior officials and private sector leaders who will address the most pressing issues facing the region, including how Europe is overcoming the ongoing pandemic and wider geopolitical challenges. Discussion topics also included the role the financial services industry plays in the EU, Europe and the broader global economy, the ambitious plans for a green and sustainable economic recovery, and the rapid digital transformation of the financial services industry.

The event was a lively discussion on the road ahead along with much missed in-person networking opportunities.
