Class consists of 60+ rising stars from 60+ financial institutions around the world.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Institute of International Finance (IIF) announced today the IIF Future Leaders Class of 2023. Participants were nominated by their firms based on a track record of achievement and their potential to become a leader in global finance. The Class of 2023 represents the 10-year anniversary of the Future Leaders Group, which convenes some of best and brightest industry professionals from around the globe.
“The financial industry is facing a confluence of challenges -- from high inflation, rising interest rates, slowing growth and geopolitical tensions to ensuring a measured and just transition to a net-zero economy,” said IIF President and CEO Tim Adams. “Cultivating strong, innovative leaders is crucial to ensuring that global financial services will continue to adapt and grow in an ever-changing world. We look forward to supporting this talented group of Future Leaders as they prepare to shape the future of our industry.”
The Future Leaders program was established in 2014 by the IIF’s Board of Directors to recognize the next generation of outstanding individuals with high leadership potential, and to build connections between rising stars from different regions and backgrounds.
Participants will attend IIF-hosted events designed to introduce them to the big ideas and topics that will drive the future of the industry. The goal is to spur innovation and fresh thinking beyond their day-to-day responsibilities and affords them the rare opportunity to develop a close global network of peers.
The Class of 2023 consists of 63 individuals from 62 IIF member institutions. It is a diverse group from 28 countries, representing a wide variety of functional areas, including: public policy, corporate strategy, macroeconomic research, sustainable finance, and digital banking and innovation.
